Interim Pastor
Bryan Glass
Graduate of LSU and Dallas Theological Seminary
Wife is Kristen and they have two daughters and one son.
Music Minister
Matthew McAnally
Matthew is a McKinney native even graduating from McKinney High School. He was called to the ministry when he was 17 years old. He graduate of Dallas Baptist University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Music. God has called him to use his musical talents and training to lead the church in worship. He and his wife Stefan were high school sweethearts and have been together since age 16. They have two beautiful children, Levi and Mackenzie.
Media Coordinator
Brad Wells
Brad is our Media Coordinator. He designs and prints our weekly bulletins, helps pastor with other printed and media needs, and monitors our sound and projections during our services. We are blessed to have Brad serve on our staff.
Accompanist
Laurie Tirmenstein
Laurie has been the pianist at Chestnut Community Church since 2008. She holds a degree in piano pedagogy and performance from SMU. She has taught piano for about 40 years, serves as accompanist for other instruments, and plays for weddings. Laurie is even a composer and her music is performed annually at the Pocket Sandwich Theatre in Dallas every Christmas for the last 33 years. Laurie has three wonderful children: daughter who is a performing artist and graduating from high school this year, a son graduating from college at University of Southern California, and a daughter who is a writer.
Accompanist
Diane Jones
Diane is the wife of Pastor Johnnie Jones. They have 2 children, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grands. She has been an assistant pianist at Chestnut Community Church since 2023. Diane holds an associate’s degree in music from San Jacinto College and has been teaching piano for 50 years. Her students participate in numerous piano festivals and National Piano Guild each year. In Piano Guild, Diane has been a certified piano teacher each year since 2001 and has also been listed in the Piano Guild Hall of Fame since 2010. Diane loves playing hymn duets with Laurie each week at church.
Diane also enjoys teaching Bible Drill to children and teens. Her students regularly advance to participate in State Bible Drill each year.
